Welcome to the home page of Polymers in Dispersed Media 2012 (PDM 2012), a conference for scientists, engineers and other professionals who create or work with polymers in dispersed media. It is a pluridisciplinary event that covers a range of topics including:
- colloid science and latex stability;
- material applications;
- latex properties and characterisation;
- polymer and process chemistry;
- process technology and modelling;
- nanocomposites and hybrid colloids;
- new methods of latex production.
In addition, we are running a minisymposium to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the first paper on miniemulsions during the first day of the conference. This minisymposium will include keynote lectures from prominent researchers in the field, as well as oral presentations selected from submitted abstracts.
